A govt shutdown this long is itself a national security threat, far greater than any make-believe threat Trump is spewing about the Mexican border. He is making a national security molehill (if that) into a national security mountain. He is terrorizing Americans.

I agree congress should start doing their job by being willing to negotiate on providing physical border security. More importantly congress should aggressively work to fix the overall immigration systems. Solve the hard problems.
