You are absolutely correct - teachers should have the right to demand a living wage. So as a teacher in Philadelphia I ask why author Act 46 which took away our right to strike and helped us go 4 years w/o a pay increase? How can someone making 20k a year survive that?
Nationwide, teachers are raising their voices loud and clear and demanding that they deserve to earn a living wage. No teacher should have to work multiple jobs to put food on the table for their families! #TeacherAppreciationWeek
