(THREAD) 1/3 Yesterday morning, I testified in front of the Philadelphia City Council to speak out against the harmful practice of predatory lending in our city and our nation.
2/3 Residents in the city of Philadelphia, a city I have been proud to call home my entire life, have enough to worry about and should in no way have to be the victim of shady lending practices that seek to make a quick buck at the expense of our most vulnerable.
