There’s a distinction between guns of hunting/sport/protection and weapons of war. We make people wait a year for driver licenses with a learners permit phase - why must there be immediate access to instruments of death?

How can we possibly know whether or not banning certain weapons and greater gun control generally will work unless we try it?! For the sake of our children, President Trump specifically and Washington generally, take the guns away!
