I'm a PROUD graduate of the Community College of Philadelphia (@CCPedu), as it shaped me into the man I am today and provided me the tools necessary to succeed at @LaSalleUniv -- where I earned my BA.
Soon after college, I ran for @PaLegis (@ 25 yrs old) & WON!
Now, in 2019, I'm working hard in Congress representing the Third Congressional District of Philadelphia. Moral of the story: Don't pay attention to the naysayers & keep pushing toward your goals!

Proud CCP nursing grad here. Don’t need a prestigious degree to make something of yourself. 
I just accepted a position at a community college and I am so proud to be there! The classes I took at community college after high school were just as beneficial to me as at my 4-year college.
No there is not, I got my ADN and have had a good and rewarding nursing career for over 32 years!!

Wish the stigma of comm. college would go away. Our HS barely acknowledges it, pushes 4-yr schools so their #’s look good. My freshman already refuses to consider it. We r lucky enuf to be near a great one w/many profs who also teach at major nearby uni. so the education is same.
If @CCPedu were called Canterbury College, people would be fighting to get in. Dedicated teachers are priceless.
