(1/3) Yesterday, I had a conversation with Mr. Murdock, a Philadelphian —both he & his wife are air traffic controllers — he told me how they’re struggling to pay for their mortgage and other bills as this #GovernmentShutdown reaches DAY 27.

-Air traffic control is MINIMALLY staffed
-NO air control support staff are working
-Controllers are RETIRING
-Training for new controllers has STOPPED

Mr. Murdock and his wife, alongside 800,000 other federal workers and contractors, especially the 12,000 in Pennsylvania, want to #EndTheShutdown and receive their hard-earned money.
They can’t afford for Trump’s political GAME to continue — their livelihoods are at stake!
What I don't understand, is why American's are attacking each other on where you make minimal $ or lots of $$$. Stop attacking those workers who are doing their jobs without pay and attack the people who put them there. You are America and are strong..come together!
Exactly! Pay yourself first and live within your means. Keep six months to a years salary in savings at all times. Your kid doesn’t need the latest phone and you don’t need Starbucks. Tighten the belt.

Can't pay for their mortgage with an average salary of 121k /yr? Welcome to the real world. We all have to live within our means. Most of us deplorables in the private sector have to get through work gaps all the time, and without back pay and job security.
