What about disabled Americans who cannot work? Most live in poverty.
The federal minimum wage, $7.25 per hour, is pathetically low. Full stop. No person can survive on an income of less than $15,000.
I urge my colleagues in Congress to #RaiseTheWage!

Many of the works making $7.25/hr are working 2 jobs. At same rate. Many 40 hrs at both and 16 hrs on weekend. Exhausted & not seeing family

For many working minimum wage the only way to survive is to supplement by stealing , selling drugs and other illegal activities

or they could just get a second job to supplement their income needs instead of selling drugs, stealing, and/or turning to illegal activities?!
