President Trump and his Admin released a report titled, Expanding Work Requirements in Non-Cash Welfare Programs, that declared the “War on Poverty is largely over and a success.” As a MoC who represents a district w/ a 26% poverty rate, let me make it clear--poverty exists.

If someone is having a hard time, they shouldn't have to work. Mothers shouldn't have to work when they have their child either! We need to expand our welfare programs and not require work for them!
