I tend to cook my chicken in a large pot of water, so I automatically get my broth for soups and stocks (plus the meat is juicy and not dry). Just thought I'd share that, in case you find it helpful.

And buying a whole, raw chicken generally costs way more than buying a rotisserie chicken, which generally costs $5. People on SNAP generally want to buy the cheaper one, which is why the rotisserie chicken is on budget blogs.

Welfare and food stamps keep people from doing good for themselves it's human nature if you have everything handed to you you're not going to get out and do better for yourself the government was not formed to take care of people there's plenty of jobs out there
