Our nation was built by generations of doers, but our current welfare system is robbing our fellow citizens of their ability to contribute to society. This is morally wrong. We must work together to make the dignity of work attainable for everyone https://goo.gl/TNXGQd

My wife, who is disabled, would love nothing more than to be able to work, but can't and relies on health insurance that you and your colleagues are trying to take away. Where exactly is the moral wrong occurring here?

The only dignity deficit I see is with you, your party, and your president.

I'm going to go out on a limb and assume you're not going to make full employment -- a well-paying job for everyone -- a national goal. Here's a link for your constituents that don't know of AEI. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Enterprise_Institute …

It's more reprehensible to allow our people to starve and be homeless and sick. I don't mind paying into social welfare programs. I will happily work an extra 3-4 hours a week so that children, the poor, & elderly have food, shelter, and clothing.

You must not be are aware that a significant number of the working poor qualify for and use government assistance in order to feed their families. As a matter of fact, many fast food workers are encouraged by their employers to seek WIC and charitable resources for assistance.
