Today, @HHSGov notified me the @WhiteHouse is re-establishing the Presidential Advisory Council on Combating Antibiotic-Resistant Bacteria. Very exciting development.

Last week, I both sent a multi-Member letter to HHS @SecAzar on #AMR and discussed with him in last Thursday’s @WaysandMeansGOP Committee hearing. This task is critically important, especially as we work to protect Americans from infections arising from #Coronavirus.pic.twitter.com/DlwtGOkH9H

I was there last week with the Pew Health group visiting congressional offices urging the same! I live with an infection and fight for reducing them and reopening the antibiotic pipeline.
