I am constantly amazed at how rich Republicans fight the idea of poor people earning a living wage, but scream like a 2 year old who lost his binky when these same poor people utilize social services to get by. It's like they think they're the only ones entitled to a handout.

Economics has not changed. If minimum wage goes up then so does inflation & the cost of goods/services. Wages are proportional to everything else. I have been a young parent of 2 making minimum wage. I budgeted and made ends meet, worked my way to better jobs. It works.
