We really need to change these drug laws. Eliminate mandatory mins and career offender provisions. Bring back federal parole, 60/40 sentence. Prosecutorial reform. Federal expungements. Remove conspiracy laws. The list goes on

It. Is. Time. For. People. To. Stop. Serving. A. Lifetime. In. Prison. Because. Of. Drug. Charges. FULL STOP. Go beyond the #FirstStepAct . Change is needed in sentencing laws, particularly for marijuana. I've seen alcohol kill people...but not weed. Both should be legal, though.

More needs to be done. The so-called war on drugs has failed for years. Marijuana should be legalized and those that have done time for it should have that history expunged. More needs to be done to keep inmates connected to their support system on the outside.

So do the IDENTICALLY SAME THING AND PROCESS FOR PREGNANT WOMEN! Where is the law holding men accountable for any woman's pregnancy! When you make that a federal crime- speak further on the subject of abortion. Until then- you know what to do- STFU
