It’s all smoke and mirrors. Companies are offering one time bonuses and not long term growth like raises or vacation. Give the rich a 1.5 trillion dollar tax break we can’t pay for is not worth a one time bonus.

You mean like Werner Enterprises in our district who offered all their drivers a $2400 average raise? Or many of our banks that raised starting pay to $15/hour?

Are we talking raises in starting pay? I agree unemployment is great and companies are raising starting wages to compete for new employees but they are not giving as many raises to long term employees. I think I could debate you on this better then your opponent. 😏

To consider 2.8 % a .3-.8% gain is not enough to claim things are better-at $12/hr a .8% increase is less than $0.10 an hr-WOW$4.00 a week, man that goes pretty far, especially with costs of goods and services increasing at a higher rate.Try your BS on people who can’t do math

Don Bacon is counting on half of NE02 doing no research, having no information, no critical thinking and voting solely on their love of salty, dead meat.

Quite the contrary, I’m sure he is counting on all of NE02 to do research and recognize that socialism is not the answer.

Another alt right BS LIE. Dems and liberals are NOT socialists, but you go ahead and keep drinking the koolaid. Taking care of people before the greed of power hungry rich and corporations has NOTHING to do with socialism, it has to do with actually caring ABOUT PEOPLE

Alt right? Where would you get an idea like that, simply false. I didn’t say dems. You realize capitalism has brought more people out of poverty than any other system, right? To insinuate that because I don’t want socialism that I don’t care about people is asinine. Kara=Bernie

You realize that capitalism puts people into poverty too right? People who have money have more opportunities to make money and keep others who don't already have it from competing. You talk like you were born with an advantage and have a blindspot for the plight of others.

Does that include the money we got in our checks from reduced withholding that we WILL have to pay in April on our taxes?

This number is fairly unchanged now compared with the variance over 50 years. These numbers have nothing to do with anything you have done anyway. You're out of your element here, Don. https://tradingeconomics.com/united-states/wage-growth …pic.twitter.com/6imtj51edF

That is because you gave all the tax benefits to the wealthy who now will never pay their fair share, and thanks to you future generations will have to pay off the needless Trillion $$ debt. And t rich companies not so rich will cut future benefits for all ages of workers etc.

Yet my standard of living continues to go down & I am one of the “lucky” ones. I have a “good” job, a masters degree & almost 0 chances of a meaningful pay increase for the rest of my career unless I go back to school for yet another degree. Nice spin. Not fooling us. #VOTE
