“Average hourly wage growth over the past six months revved up to 3.3% on an annualized basis, easily the fastest pace since January 2009.” Great news!https://bit.ly/2ISIcD5

When you adjust wage growth for inflation, wages have been flat since 2017. The inflation rate has doubled since Trump took office and has eaten up any wage gains. At the same time, corporate profits have soared. #NE02

Not according to OWH... they say NE wages increased 3.4% over inflation this past year. First tome in almost decade and half.

I'm talking about the national figures. The OWH doesn't say whether or not their numbers were adjusted for inflation.

You are mistaken once again... the OWH made it clear it was 3.4% wage growth in NE adjusted for inflation. We'll be discussing this everyday in weeks ahead!

The annual deficit will be $2 trillion when we have a recession. Deficits in the amount of $1 trillion and $2 trillion aren't conservative - they're extreme. Bacon is too extreme for #NE02.

But, damn that nasty 2.8% inflation rate. How about real wage growth? Also, a cursory review indicates wage growth increased at 3.9% in 10/16 and 3.6% in 6/16. Once again Don, how about the whole story.

Even with good news, Democrats falter. Claim it is a lie or give credit to Obama or welcome the news? Left says all the current good things are all Obama and his Republican Congress but all the current negative trends are Trump and his Republicans. #Hypocrisy #SayNoToKara

Ita hilarious when people give credit to Obama for the current economy. Obama flat out said that high unemployment and low GDP growth are the "new norm". Now we see historic low unemployment, more jobs than there are people looking, and higher GDP growth.

yet slower than under the "too left wing" Eisenhower. Maybe we should look at increasing taxes at the very top to help move wages and wealth towards the middle and bottom? No, we should fear monger and lie and then complain about civility!

Rate of inflation is 1.9%. as @RepDonBacon. This means a 1.4% raise. I guess that is better than going backwards.
