The coronavirus disrupted educational programs and left students without access to housing, meal plans, or classroom space. Under the CARES Act which was passed by Congress, colleges and universities in our district will receive more than $66 million.
At least half of that will go to students as emergency grants to pay for housing, food, and other basic essentials.
