Pre-existing conditions range from Cancer and Lupus, to diabetes and sleep apnea. It’s inconceivable that those who already have an illness would be denied the treatment they need. We must do all we can to strengthen coverage for those with pre-existing conditions.
The mother of a child with diabetes stopped me because she was worried about her child’s future. It’s terrible to think that the Administration would try to take away coverage for that little girl. Health coverage is very real for that little girl, & millions of other Americans.
Protecting people with pre-existing conditions is not some academic or partisan debate. Access to healthcare means life or death for people.
