Our country is facing an epidemic of gun violence. The House has passed three bills that will strengthen background checks and help keep our communities safe. Now would be a great time for the Senate to consider these bills. The time for thoughts and prayers has passed.

Thoughts and prayers are great but they do nothing to stop the violence or the suffering! We have to do more than lip service!
