Here in Michigan many adjunct faculty will lose healthcare because of the new rules the GOP passed. Many professors spend countless hours outside of the class grading and prepping and communicating with students. Now they will have to volunteer 14 to 17 hours every week

Medicaid in Michigan is a racket. Since this has been contracted out to the same miserable Insurance companies, all they do is block use of the program. That's how they profit. The less it is used, the more money they keep. It's tax dollars funneled to corporations.
