You are exactly correct about prescriptions. Being self-employed and without the ACA I would have had a $3,000 bill for a recent colonoscopy.
You should have seen my face the day I went to pick up a prescription that would have lasted a week – it was $1,500. This would cripple the monthly budget of an average family. We need to keep generic drugs in the marketplace – this means savings for everyday Americans.

@WrkoutWithJells received a prescription for skin cream for our daughter. Its $700+ our insurance company#rejected to cover the prescription and their generic offerings fail to have the active ingredient my daughter was prescribed -

The REAL scandel is that generic prices have increased 2, 3, even 5x the rate of inflation. With NO INNOVATION. Truly new & innovative drugs should pay back the billions to incent/discover/develop. But generics' prices should match the CPI, like all commodities

I should’ve picked one up that was $9750 for a 1 month supply. I did not, could not, will not spend that kind of money for a prescription medication. I’m trying alternative meds, herbal remedies & home remedies instead. My brilliant insurance company can pay future hospital bills
