As a Patient Advocate I've heard stories of patients: *who choose between Meds or Food (have heard this TOO many times for insulin). *who have mortgaged their houses due to surgeries or hospital stays. *who choose not to see a doctor when they're sick b/c they can't afford it.
Too many people ask me what good does it do if they test positive but can't afford the treatment needed. For example, many women don’t get mammograms because they can't afford further treatment or tests. Healthcare cost is crippling hardworking men & women. This must change.

The price of Diabetic medications are out of control! A person can't help getting this disease, it is inherited. You don't get it from eating too much sugar. I eat right excercise and still got it. I'm not on insulin. But my other meds combined
