Signed on as an original cosponsor to legislation led by @RepMcGovern to prohibit all U.S arms sales to government of Saudi Arabia until the Secretary of State determines that the Saudi regime is not responsible for the disappearance or death of Jamal Khashoggi.
Congress must make clear that human rights and freedom of expression are a priority for the US. It is imperative the Saudi govt provides a full and fair accounting of the facts surrounding Mr. Khashoggi’s disappearance- we must continue to push for transparency in this regard.
We should probably stop all trade and boycott middle eastern oil. I wonder how much that virtue signal would cost?
What about freedom to rights, liberties, and pursuing happiness? Michigan has revoked my rights in doing so for 25+ years.
