To answer your question, Briana, because I took a covid test that morning (negative), I’m double vaccinated, I keep my interactions distanced, brief, and entirely outdoors and everyone who comes to speak with me does so electively. I’m following the science.

It isn't about you specifically, you are an elected official and you should be setting an example. Delta is surging, covid is worse now than it was last year, and our party, the DFL, is the party promoting social responsibility. I know masks are hot, but it is about optics.

Being masked would not increase spread, it would send a message, the fact that you had to respond with these clarifications mean those clarifications are not obvious and known to others.
Set the standard, mask up.
