I’m horrified and incredulous that such a mistake is even possible. A life is lost, others are changed forever, and a suffering community’s pain exacerbated in a fleeting instant. We must all come together in the spirit of justice, safety, and security for ALL. We cannot wait.

This is why I could never have been a cop. I could never forgive myself for this sort of mistake. Horrified and upset for all parties involved. How can it be that the sensation between holding a gun and a taser is not so different as to make it impossible?
