Holding opposing political views doesn’t make us enemies, rather Americans. I mourn for U.S. Capitol Police officer Brian D. Sicknick, who was killed defending all of us inside on Wednesday - no matter our politics. Unlike the insurgents, he was a patriot.

Rep. Phillips- Acting upon those opposite views using violence makes these people enemies of the state & whoever perpetrates such acts or supports such acts must be prosecuted. Isn't it a part of your oath to defend our country?

Nice post and your first one since the incident that isn’t over melodramatic or race baiting. Nice words on the Officer and he should be remembered as a hero. BTW. Were the mobs who tried to storm the White House last year insurgents? A bit of consistency would help you.
