I’m sad. I’m angry. And I’m grieving for generations who’ve lived in fear for the safety of their children, their parents, their brothers and sisters. The “sincere ignorance” to which MLK referred can no longer be tolerated in an enlightened nation. We MUST rise to the occasion.

Yes we must and we need you there to help bring us up. I am so proud of Minneapolis for standing up to an obvious wrong. I don’t agree with the vandalism but there’s anger and rightfully earned anger.

What can you do as a Representative? What besides tweeting are you and others in leadership positions doing about these abuses of police power?

The officers need 2B prosecuted, but Floyd was no saint. He put himself in harm's way by commiting a crime & resisting arrest. He absolutely didn't deserve 2 die 4 what he did, but he'd likely still B alive if he hadn't committed a crime that day. We R all a result of our choices
