The tragic school shooting in Santa Fe, Texas is yet another example of the failure of Republican Leaders to address gun violence. Thoughts and prayers are not enough. It is long past time for action.
There have been over 150 bills introduced in the U.S. House since January 2017, but only 2 have received a vote & virtually none have gone through the committee process. Our children, families & communities need & deserve action from Congress to curb gun violence. #EnoughisEnough
As one of your constituents and as a teacher, I am asking you and any other politicians that have the courage to do whatever it takes to protect my students and to protect this father for his children.
This definitely seems to be a massive bipartisan failure. Most people are ok with common sense gun control but problem seems to be that dems take things too far making compromise impossible. We all know if the republican problems but we can’t pretend dems are free from blame
