They know. They just don’t care because they see the working poor and middle class as insignificant to their own personal bottom lines. We have a system that allows them to become millionaires while in public office due to legalized bribery. Why would they serve the people?

This story is written with a LOT of charity in assuming that the original intention was tax cuts for the middle class. NOTHING in the GOP congress' actions suggests that was EVER their plan.
