In CA, Essential workers, including health care professionals, emergency response personnel, law enforcement, & grocery store employees, will have access to state-subsidized childcare programs under Governor Newsom’s executive order.

Is there any plan for allowing COVID-19 work from home orders as qualifying events for withdrawing money from our childcare FSAs? Since we’re now providing all the childcare ourselves, in our workplaces, the money would be very helpful and put towards its original intent.
