Every day, I treat my cancer with a pill that costs $500 each. I’m lucky that my insurance is strong & I can afford the treatment, but unfortunately many people have to make a daily choice about whether to treat their ailments or go without food, heat, or skip paying their rent.
We took a stand against pharmaceutical companies and passed the Elijah E. Cummings Lower Drug Costs Now Act (H.R. 3) to help make prescription drugs more affordable and help families focus less on affording their treatment and more on getting healthy.
