Trump and GOP are pushing the divisive idea that immigrants are freeloading off public resources, taking resources from poorer citizens. However, idle talk aside, the Trump admin has done very little to protect or help the working poor. And that’s not the fault of immigrants.

I wonder whether he/this administration feels that American citizens who are on welfare or other public assistance are a "burden" too. Personally I’d rather my taxes help out families rather than pay for giant corporations’ tax cuts.
