To help solve this issue, I want the Departments of Defense and Veteran’s Affairs to determine how many veterans are impacted by this discrepancy and how much money has been withheld from them.

Separation pay and disability benefits seem like entirely separate and independent issues. Very hard to see how this could be seen as “double dipping”. Thanks for shining some light on this.
