As a former small business owner, I have seen the benefits of investing in our workers. To those who say the minimum wage is too high, we say no—the problem with the minimum wage is that it is too LOW. #RaiseTheWage #FightFor15

Mark, you are missing simple economics. You assume that the owners, mostly small businesses, have excess cash to pay for a higher minimum wage and have enough left over to keep everything the same. That is a falsehood. They have to raise prices or cut workers no choice.

Remember folks the customer pays for everything! All of a business owners costs are passed on to their customers! Everywhere minimum wages have been raised jobs our lost due to automation and cost cutting, plane economics!101!

PotUS has been boasting of a modest bump up in average wages in January. Guessing most of this can be DIRECTLY attributed to popular minimum wage initiatives in various states and cities, increases effective Jan 1,2019 by law, and no thanks to last year’s GOP-led US Congress.
