Family planning would be good, too. In the 70s, with the advent of the Pill and Roe, that was a big item of discussion. But since the evangelicals took over, it’s become a dirty word. More people = more pollution. And that is an inconvenient truth.
We need urgent, concerted action to address #climatechange. Land use planning, housing, and transportation solutions that reduce oil consumption and greenhouse gas emissions should be a part of the solution.
