Sure, Congress "should". But given that neither you nor anybody else has *any* reason to believe it will, it's become more important to be honest about what you and Democrats can and will do to defend and restore the rule of law with the power you've now got.

Instead of lecturing them about what they "should" do, make is perfectly clear that your party and the clear majority that backs you stand for - and insists on - the rule of law, full stop.
