In San Pablo, unemployment is at one of its lowest rates, yet the uninsured rate has tripled. The gig economy is a deceptive element and will exacerbate this shrinking wage issue.
While the unemployment rate dropped to the lowest level since 1969, wages are not keeping pace. In fact, real wages in August actually declined.
