We have witnessed the horrors of Donald Trump’s zero tolerance policy and the lasting effects that it has on children and families. I have heard the cries of separated families firsthand at the border. The country has rebuked the separation of families.
Yet, the Trump Administration is doubling down on the pain they have inflicted by pursuing indefinite detention for children. Thank you for maintaining focus on these cruel policies and I appreciate that many representatives and organizations like the @ACLU are working to help these families (it is infuriating that the administration has ignored court orders and stalls and blocks progress).
