Congressman, as a supporter of expanding gun safety laws, I don’t think this is a good approach. Like with the “bump stock” issue, 3D-printed guns need specific kinds of specialized parts to work. Let’s ban those and avoid a possible challenge over speech/prior restraint issues.
Gun safety advocates are coming together to block blueprints for 3-D guns from becoming widely available on the Internet.
