My sister never would've called a hotline. She was on a 5250 and 3 days into her mandatory 14, a bay area judge asked how she felt. She said fine & he released her. 2 days later she was dead.

Thank you Rep. DeSaulnier, my grandfather killed himself with a hunting rifle. I suffered from depression all my life and have been helped with medication and talk therapy. I wish my grandfather and mother would have had this kind of help.
