Nope. You analysis is flawed. Would you work for 3.89/hour, no benefits, during a global pandemic, interacting all day w maskless people who don’t believe in covid?

Nah bud, it's what happens when companies don't pay enough for what the job requires.

My starting rate at Hardee's was $7.50/hr. It got bumped up 25¢ every 3 months, but that stopped after a year. When I left I was only making $8.25/hr and I wouldn't get another raise until my yearly review. I left in August of 2020. I'm not surprised Hardee's can't find workers.

No, this is what happens when there is a strong job market and employers are forced to compete for workers. Who the hell would agree to work in an environment where there is daily abuse and exposure to COVID, all for minimum wage?

Or maybe workers are sick of working full-time and not being able to afford the basics????

It's what happens when folks are asked to risk their health for $7.25/hr. But you could make a difference by helping to pass a decent living minimum wage of $15, instead of making stuff up and complaining. You got elected to help your constituents, didn't you?

Exactly! Why risk Covid for a job that doesn't pay enough to even cover rent? It has nothing to do with the stimulus. So tired of republican talking points like this.
