Just in North Carolina, the heroin and fentanyl being smuggled across the border are taking the lives of our family members, friends, and neighbors. This is all part of the crisis. #SecureOurBorder

According to the DEA, almost all heroin is brought into the US through "legal ports of entry, followed by tractor-trailers" b/c individuals carrying drugs would be impractical.
