It’s too bad our schools, including Chaparral, are underfunded. The kids at Chap had their art program cut when they were in elementary school. Why won’t our elected officials support art by funding public education in our state? This talented student needs support!
Great time at the Congressional Art Competition this weekend. This year’s winner is from Chaparral High School and her artwork will soon be hung in the U.S. Capitol. Congratulations to all of the students who submitted pieces this year, we have amazing talent in our district!

The great teachers in the art department at Chaparral deserve more than being dead last in the nation for teacher pay. Please speak with Gov.Ducey and ask that he support our schools,our teachers and our students. I bet Kavanagh, Lawrence and Ugenti will take your phone call!
