    I just sent a letter to requesting a state funeral be held for the last surviving Medal of Honor recipient from WWII. By doing this, our nation can offer a final honor and salute to the Greatest Generation for their bravery and sacrifice during WWII.

    Today, I spoke with the Commissioner. We discussed at length the issue of tax return backlogs and what the IRS is doing to fix it. I told him the impact this has on Arizona, and stressed the need for efficiency within the agency.
