Many Americans save for years to try and become homeowners but burdensome regulations prevent them from buying a home. I am proud to have cosponsored the Mortgage Choice Act which helps more low and moderate-income Americans qualify for a mortgagepic.twitter.com/qkBrW7Dk24

Yeah, in your language "burdensome regulations" translates to "common sense consumer protections", but nice try. Your transparent attempts to line your pockets after you leave office are fooling no one. #LiarTrott

This bill allows more mortgages to be labeled “qualified” by allowing those mortgages to have higher fees overall to the buyer. So once again shilling for corporations over consumers. Your smile and glee are just meant to deceive the public. #publicenemy

The bill, H.R. 1153, is bipartisan legislation introduced by Rep. Bill Huizenga, R-Mich., Rep. Gregory Meeks, D-N.Y., Rep. Ed Royce, R-Calif., Rep. David Scott, D-Ga., Rep. Steve Stivers, R-Ohio, Rep. Mike Doyle, D-Penn., and Rep. David Joyce, R-Ohio. Don't see your name here.

This smells swampy. @CongressEthics Is it conflict of interest for a congressman to cosponsor a bill regarding home mortgages when he runs a foreclosure business?

Answer me this: how does an ethical man sponsor a legislative bill which lines his own pockets? And please, no reciting fairytales about how you're helping lower income people.

It makes sense that it looks like a comma in the pic, since the "...emporarily, until I can make millions by helping to foreclose on them." part is pretty obvious.
