  Why is it the party in the minority has absolutely no recourse when the majority turns a blind eye to Executive Branch Malfeasance?? There has to be another check put in place to prevent this from happening again in the future

  Sure - based upon what exactly? There's no ethics violation? He says he didn't know about raises, (which weren't illegal) and as soon as he learned about them he reversed them. So why should he resign? Oh, I get it - you don't like him!
