I'm sick and tired of hearing this is a Democrat or Republican issue. This is an American issue. If our elected officials in Washington would've been more proactive from the beginning instead of this is no big deal, this country would probably be better off today.
Why is the debate over reopening our economy a politically divisive issue?
Why do most Democrats favor continued lockdowns while most Republicans want the lockdowns lifted?

And now Trump cannot tie economic success into his campaign message. That’s why they’re playing it like this. They can’t say his leadership is steadfast, they cannot say his economy is in good shape. So they’re lobbing a Hail Mary hope that opening the economy actually rebounds.
