Absolutely not. I agree that guidelines for masks in confined spaces should be strongly promoted. But 180 days in jail or $1,000 fine for not wearing a mask? That is draconian. So the punishment for not wearing a mask is to expose the person in jail? We are letting out criminals because we don’t want to expose them to the virus in jail but not wearing a mask is a crime worthy of that risk? Are these people insane.

I agree. Anyone wanting to go outside without protecting themselves and other IS insane and should go to jail.
