Unfortunately that does nothing to help folks like me who work multiple pay-per-event jobs that don't qualify for unemployment.
Increasing unemployment benefits and business loans should be a primary focus of the economic stimulus. The money should go to people who were hit hardest and need it most. Agree 100%. As the voice of reason, can you say why so few in Washington understand this?

I am a fan of Dan, but he is dead wrong in this case. Even people who r still working are having hours slashed, having to miss work unpaid to look after kids due to mandatory shutdown of schools by government etc... I don't think Dan understands the scope of devistation going on

Look into if eliminating federal taxes would save as much money as the check-handing-out program. If it saves more, it'll give congress more of a onus to get rid of the "state of emergency".

The federal government failed to protect us from this. They should have closed the borders and prepped for this months ago. They owe us our taxes back at the very least. My livelihood has been decimated.
