This is such a tired lie. Increased investment in R&D (and Cost of Sales) is absolutely NOT proportional to price hikes on drugs like insulin. This information is out there, published by the pharmaceutical companies, available for you to read, & March happens to be reading month.

Admin, licensing, and testing costs probably contribute to that. However When we license another country to use a drug patent they usually aren’t required to pay down the research debt that was accrued, for what reason is beyond me...
