Serious question. Which programs are being cut we've paid into? I thought Social Security and Medicare weren't being cut. I'm I incorrect about this?

It's Government 101. The President proposes the budget & Congress analyzes that proposal then creates resolutions. My Seniors understand this.

The GAO gets all budet requests from agencies, compiles a comprehensive budget. The President approves it before being sent to Congress for final appropriation. Congress passes the marked up budget. The President signs, and it goes back to the GAO for distribution to agencies.

Ask Pelosi how many trips she has gone on this year & how many of her people she took with her. Why does she get to use military planes to fly home & back every weekend? Why at times does she get a 3 plane escort? How much does that cost the taxpayers.
